True professionals at their craft. Had a great experience! Thank you!

5 Stars on their service for listing my piano to sell it on SPS Online store.

SPS did a wonderful job of assembling our kawai CN-29 piano. Price was very reasonable. Thanks a lot for your service 🙂

SPS from Dubai provided excellent piano tuning and keyboard action work. Best value for money. Very satisfied! Very happy and satisfied to have found this great resource for my hobby in UAE

SPS provided excellent tuning service. Professional, friendly, and great value for money. Highly recommended!

Very convenient and professional service. Extremely pleased. Booking was easy, once that was confirmed. The Piano expert arrived precisely on time and spent 2 hours totally dedicated towards tuning the piano. He was very professional and knowledgeable.

Such a great page, providing all useful information about pianos, different brands and designs, and most importantly fixing any damaged piano. Perfect for anyone who is into piano and is looking for one, or just fixing your own piano…

I would give 5 stars… Nerdy professional service, very knowledgeable and very skillful Thank you. I have already passed your name on to a friend… May I wish you continue success with your business it is well deserved.

I was searching for the best company to help tune and provide service for my piano, and I believe I found the best so far! It’s the professional service that I obtained leaving my piano new just like how I bought it!

Bought a kawai piano. The agent in touch with me, Abdul Razzak was very prompt with service and installation.

Great experience. Installation process was smooth and the Gentleman, Mr Abdul Razzak was a thorough professional in explaining all aspects of the piano. Will surely recommend him to friends.

Thank you so much. Very nice experience. Thanks to Mr Abdul the manager of the site. He provide me full information about the brand and was in contact with me until i got the piano. My instrument was delivered earlier than it was expected. Will definitely recommend!

The response time, delivery and installation were amazingly fast. Very happy with my new piano.

Great customer service and very good communication. All follow up was also perfect!

We bought a brand-new Pearl River UP121S upright piano from the Specialized Piano Store. Mr. Abdul was extremely helpful and patient, assisting us in finding the perfect piano. Great online experience. Highly recommended!

My upright piano had a squeaky key and pedal. The original tuning company quoted high prices for replacing multiple components and taking the piano away for repairs. However, after an initial assessment by SPS, Mr. Abdul fixed the issue on the spot without replacing any parts, and at a much lower cost. I highly recommend.

Excellent Product & good Service ! Received the Product next day!

Great service! The technician fixed the keys requested and even spotted another key issue, which he fixed and after the repair he gave some tips on playing the piano too.

Good quality work. The technician replaced my broken bass string on my Boston GP-178, and also resolved all other issues I addressed issues concerning sticking felt dampers and noisy pedal mechanism that were ignored by my previous piano technician. Also performed a good piano tuning. Very reasonable price. Would recommend.

Had the best experience buying and servicing two pianos.

They provided one of the best buying experiences I’ve had in a long time. They understood my time constraints and went above and beyond to ensure an earlier delivery of the Kawai ES920 piano. Their user-friendly online platform and personal touch, especially during telephone conversations, were magnificent. Thank you, Specialized, for a truly excellent experience!

Good communication with the store through WhatsApp, easy ordering / payment, lightning fast delivery and assembly of the piano at home. Great service, thank you!

Bought an amazing Kawai CA79 that only exists with this awesome store. What can I say about Mr. Abdul? Truly customer-centric professional that is always responsive and helpful. I recommend anyone who wants to buy piano to buy from this awesome store.

Chose SPS store for a Kawai K500 in Dubai and never regretted it. Professional, dedicated, and pleasant. Flexible payment options, same-day delivery, and excellent support. Highly recommended for a quick and enjoyable piano-buying experience.

Mr. Abdul is responsive, informative and accommodating your needs. From my first questions to delivery/assembly of the piano to my home takes only 3 days. Very happy with the service and the piano. Thank you Mr. Abdul.

Tips & Hints

It depends. The piano is a complex instrument, with over too individual strings and thousands of moving parts. Each string must be painstakingly adjusted to put the piano in tune. Even the tiniest change in a string’s tension can be heard by a practiced ear. So, do you have to tune your piano after moving it? Pianos need periodic tuning anyway, whether they are moved or not, so it’s likely that a piano that has just been moved was already due for tuning before the move. If so, it’s best to let the piano adjust to its new environment for a week or two, then have it tuned. On the other hand, if the piano had been recently tuned before the move, you might just hold off and see how the piano sounds after a few weeks. If the climate of the new location is similar to the old, your piano will probably sound fine until its next regular service date.

Generally speaking, a soft disposable towel, using warm water and hand/dish soap is safe to use on virtually every finish, key, and case parts. Always follow up with a dry soft disposable towel to dry any standing liquid. Cleaning pianos is a gentle process not a scrubbing process. Pressing hard or vigorous scrubbing may lead to scratching or removing the finish. Always proceed with caution and use common sense. Remember to wash your hands after you have thrown away the towels.

Pianos are mostly wood and are greatly affected by seasonal change. Variations in the air’s relative humidity, and to a lesser extent temperature, case a piano to go out of tune. In the long run, repeated swings in relative humidity can cause damage to the finis, cracking of the wooden soundboard, and even structural failure. So, when locating your piano, try to choose a spot with the fewest drafts, no direct sunlight and stable temperature and humidity.

When a piano string is set into motion, it vibrates up and down repeatedly. If the note A above middle C is properly tuned, that string will vibrate 440 times in one second. That’s what A-440 means.

Ever note on a piano is tuned using A-440 as the starting point. A-440 has been accepted as the universal standard for most of the century. Before that, it varied as much as a semi-tone higher or lower. And even farther back in time, there was no standard at all.

You may have yelled that a time or two at one of your children. Because it’s so annoying, keys struck loudly at random can rattle your nerves. But it won’t damage the piano. Most pianos are built to withstand very heavy use. Watch a professional pianist play or listen to how hard your tuner pounds each key when tuning. In comparison, a child’s small hands couldn’t possibly play that hard. The real danger is kids dropping small toys inside, slipping coins into the slots between the keys, or running toys across the finish. So encourage your child to have fun with the piano, not to be afraid of it. Don’t worry if young children play haphazardly and loudly. Teach respect for the instrument and encourage playing and they will be on their way to a lifetime of musical enjoyment.

Standard piano casters are only meant for occasional small movements, such as rolling the piano a few feet on a smooth floor. Pianos moved often, such as those on stages, in school buildings...etc. must be mounted on special dollies to prevent damage to the original casters and legs.
